The project would be about the price impacts of “Satoshi era coin” moves. Satoshi era coins are Bitcoins that have been held in wallets for more than a decade and never been moved since then. The results contribute to public and scientific knowledge in the realm of market efficiency of cryptocurrency markets.

Our CEO Dr. Lennart Ante presented his working paper "Liquidity Shocks, Token Returns and Market Capitalization in Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Markets", where he analyzes so-called swaps on decentralized exchanges (DEXes) and challenges the metric "market capitalization" by highlighting how it insufficiently represents the actual value of DeFi tokens.
