We are happy to report that our CEO and Co-Founder, Dr. Lennart Ante, held guest lectures on “Stablecoins and their Relevance to Global Finance” at Mahidol University, hosted by Prof. Dr. Aman Saggu, whom we would like to thank for the excellent organization and warm hospitality.

During his lecture, Dr. Ante introduced  blockchain technology, the concept of tokenization, and the diverse landscape of stablecoins. He provided a comprehensive taxonomy of stablecoins, explaining their classifications and unique attributes. Dr. Ante also shed light on the stablecoin trilemma, a framework highlighting the challenges in achieving decentralization, stability, and scalability simultaneously.

Furthermore, Dr. Ante explored the transformative potential of stablecoins in the realm of global finance and trade. He illustrated how stablecoins could enhance cross-border transactions, reduce remittance costs, and provide greater financial inclusion, particularly in developing economies. The lecture was well-received by students and faculty alike, sparking engaging discussions and a deeper understanding of the pivotal role stablecoins could play in the future of global financial systems.
