Successful 3rd Berlin Conference Crypto-Currencies in a Digital Economy (CCC3/ CCConf 2021)
We would like to thank the Blockchain Research Center at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the Austrian Blockchain Center (ABC Research), the University College Dublin, the HTW Berlin and the University of Zurich for organising and hosting this year´s “3rd Berlin Conference Crypto-Currencies in a Digital Economy (CCC3/ CCConf 2021)“, which took place from the 26th to 27th of November 2021.
The Berlin Crypto-Currencies Conference (CCConf) provides a platform for interdisciplinary discussion of the challenges and opportunities of distributed ledger systems, as well as the technological and economic potential of blockchain-based systems.
The conference featured diverse and exciting presentations on topics such as Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), the valuation of cryptocurrencies, the Bitcoin Lightning Network, the regulation of privacy coins, or the compensation of CO2 emissions through a tokenised market. The conference offered a lot of opportunities for personal exchange and discussion with other researchers and was an all-round successful event.
We were very happy to have participated in this year´s conference.
