Workshop: Digitization in payments at Hamburg Economic Forum for young professionals and students

We are very pleased to be able to give a workshop on the 8^th of November 2021 on the topic of „Decentralized Finance (DeFi): An open financial system on the blockchain“ at the Hamburg Economic Forum.

The event is organized by Handelskammer Hamburg with Deutsche Bundesbank and HAW Hamburg and is aimed at young professionals and students.

Digitization is making a decisive contribution to increasing international competitiveness and is taking place in many economic and social areas of our lives today. Hence, it does not stop at banks and payment transactions. Along with other applications, technologies such as blockchain play an essential role in this context.

Together with other experts from business and science, the event will explore questions about the relevance of cash, cryptocurrencies, the future of national and cross-border payment transactions as well as the role of the digital Euro.
