Franco-German Summer school for young researchers of Public Finances | Université de Lorraine / IRENEE
Our co-founder Fred Steinmetz presented at the event, highlighting the relevance of blockchain technology for addressing current and future issues in public finance. In the event’s track on digital developments affecting public finance, the presentation was followed by interesting, related topics such as central bank digital currency, facebook’s corporate currency Diem as well as artificial intelligence’s implications for public finance. The event took place online on 23 June 2021 and slides will be circulated among participants but are also available upon request.
We would like to thank the organizers for the invitation and carefully selected topics, considering especially digital evolvements for aiding public finance. It’s great to experience public sector researchers’ interest in blockchain technology.
