The systematic analysis, review and summary of scientific literature and references makes it possible to understand subject areas better and faster. Within the scope of the project we want to review literature on blockchain and cryptocurrency topics and publish the results.

Digital markets and products like cryptocurrencies possess various special properties, which is partly due to their comparatively short existence and low lower of regulation. The BRL looks to assess market mechanisms and efficiency arising from these markets, such as determinants of returns or signs of fraudulent or manipulative behavior.

Assessing entrepreneurial opportunities arising from blockchain technology, such as startup financing in the form of Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) or security tokens. While the potential of blockchain-based financing is great, the market is still immature. Therefore, we launched a project to gain further understanding of the phenomenons and related markets.
