A new study by our co-founder Prof. Lennart Ante in Telematics and Informatics looks at what happens when people use large language models such as ChatGPT or Claude to write or polish their dating messages. The study draws on in-depth interviews with 45 dating app users. Twenty-three of them used AI to craft their own messages. Twenty-two had been on the receiving end. Their accounts reveal three patterns.
